What is E33G Remote Worker Visa?
Limited Stay Visa allows you to enter and exit Indonesia for a specific period. This type of visa can be extended and transferred to another residence permit. Perfect for digital nomads working remotely for companies established outside Indonesia. Upon entry, you automatically receive KITAS (Limited Stay Permit) and Re-Entry Permit valid for 1 year.
What You Can Do
Staying in Indonesia on assignment for a foreign company. As long as your Re-Entry Permit is valid, you are permitted to enter and exit Indonesia. You may also engage in tourism-related activities, such as visiting friends or family. Work remotely from anywhere in Indonesia while maintaining employment with your overseas company.
Sponsor Requirements
No Guarantor Required - You can apply directly through evisa.imigrasi.go.id without needing a local sponsor or guarantor. This is a self-sponsored visa for independent remote workers.
Period of Stay
You can stay in Indonesia for one year. Renewal of your stay permit can be done online at evisa.imigrasi.go.id. Your KITAS (Limited Stay Permit) and Re-Entry Permit will be issued automatically once you are granted entry by an immigration officer at the Immigration Checkpoint.

Special Requirements for Remote Workers
Bank account proving income in the form of salary or earnings worth at least US$60,000 per year; Employment agreement with a company established outside the territory of Indonesia. You must provide proof of ongoing employment with a foreign-based employer.
Other Provisions
Visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issue. If unused after that period, foreigners must apply for a new visa to enter Indonesia. Please note that the validity period of a visa differs from the length of stay; please check your visa for information on the length of stay. Limited Stay Permits and Re-Entry Permits will be issued automatically once you are granted entry by an officer at the Immigration Checkpoint. You are prohibited from staying in Indonesia beyond the period of stay, engaging in work inconsistent with your stay permit, or selling goods or services, unless required for your work.
