What is E31G Parent of Indonesian Citizen Child KITAS?
The E31G is a family reunification visa issued to the foreign parent of an Indonesian citizen (WNI) child. It permits the parent to enter and reside in Indonesia for an initial period selected at application, sponsored by their Indonesian child.
Allowed Activities
Holders may reside in Indonesia and pursue education if applicable, and, while the re-entry permit remains valid, may travel in and out of Indonesia and engage in tourism-related activities or visits to friends or family.

Period of Stay

Documents not in Indonesian or English must be translated by a certified/sworn translator.
Specific Requirements
Proof of the parent-child relationship via the Family Card, together with one of the following: an Indonesian government-issued birth certificate, a translated birth certificate (if the child was born abroad), or a child adoption decree.
Other Provisions
Holders are prohibited from remaining in Indonesia beyond the granted period of stay, performing unauthorized work, or selling goods or services. The Limited Stay Permit (ITAS) and Re-Entry Permit are issued automatically once the holder clears immigration at the port of entry.

Processing takes five working days after payment is completed. The procedure includes verification of the submitted requirements, verification of the fee payment, creation/verification of the applicant's profile, approval by the immigration authority, and issuance of the visa.
