What is E28C Investor Golden Visa (Capital Market)?
The E28C is a limited stay visa for foreign nationals from any country intending to purchase Indonesian government bonds, shares of publicly listed companies, or mutual funds in publicly listed companies, at or above the minimum value set for each duration option.
Allowed Activities
Holders may carry out investment-related activities, bring family members to reside in Indonesia, exit and re-enter Indonesia while the Re-entry Permit remains valid, engage in tourism, shop, and visit friends or family, and receive returns or benefits arising from their investments.
Sponsor Requirements
All Visas except B1 Visa or VOA are recommended to use Sponsorship as your guarantor in Indonesia. You are free to choose whether to use a guarantor or not. By checking the Sponsor option in your order, you will be legally sponsored by us and you will receive a Sponsor ID / IDiv.
Period of Stay
Applicants may choose an initial stay permit of 5 years or 10 years, extendable in accordance with immigration regulations. Specific Requirements
For the 5-year visa: proof of ownership of Indonesian government bonds, shares in a publicly listed company, or mutual funds in a publicly listed company, with a minimum value of US$350,000. For the 10-year visa: proof of ownership of the same categories of securities with a minimum value of US$700,000, or alternatively, ownership of an apartment/condominium unit valued at a minimum of US$1,000,000.
Other Provisions
Stateless persons and holders of travel documents other than a national passport must provide proof of permission to return and an onward/return ticket. A Limited Stay Permit (ITAS) and a Re-entry Permit are issued automatically once entry is approved by an immigration officer at the checkpoint. Holders must not overstay the granted period, must not work outside the scope of the permit, and must not sell goods or services except where required by their role.
