What is D2 Business Visa?

This visa is a multiple-entry visitor visa to Indonesia, with a maximum stay of 60 days per entry, calculated from the date of arrival. This stay permit can be extended but cannot be converted to a limited stay permit. Available in 1-year, 2-year, and 5-year validity options.

What You Can Do

Conduct business, attend meetings, and purchase goods. You can also hold discussions, negotiate, and/or sign business agreements. This visa allows you to inspect goods at offices, factories, or production sites. This visa also allows you to travel and visit friends and family.

Period of Stay

You can stay in Indonesia for a maximum of 60 days each time, calculated from the date of arrival. You can extend this stay permit multiple times, up to a maximum of 180 days per visit. Stay permit extensions can be done online by yourself through your registered account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id.

Special Requirements

Letter of information, invitation, or correspondence from a government agency or private institution explaining the relationship with you; or a letter of information from the husband/wife or parents (Indonesian citizens) explaining family ties and your activities while in Indonesia (accompanied by a family card/similar document).

Other Provisions

Stateless foreigners and foreigners holding travel documents... The validity of the visa is calculated from the date of issuance... Foreigners with a residence permit from a D2 Visa are prohibited from selling goods/services or receiving compensation/wages or the like for their work/business from individuals or corporations in Indonesia. In addition, residence permit holders are also prohibited from continuously supervising production or sales activities.
