What is D14 Film Making and Production Visa?

This visa is a multiple-entry visitor visa to Indonesia, with a maximum stay of 60 days per entry, calculated from the date of arrival. This stay permit can be extended multiple times up to a maximum of 180 days, but cannot be converted into a Limited Stay Permit (KITAS). Available in 1-year and 2-year validity options.

Allowed Activities

Allowed: visiting Indonesia for the purpose of film making, music videos, reality shows, documentaries, television programs, radio programs, and similar activities that use locations in Indonesia. This visa also allows you to travel and visit friends and family. Not allowed: selling goods or services, or receiving compensation, wages, or the like for work/business performed for an individual or corporation in Indonesia.

Sponsor Requirements

All Visas except B1 Visa or VOA are recommended to use Sponsorship as your guarantor in Indonesia. You are free to choose whether to use a guarantor or not. By checking the Sponsor option in your order, you will be legally sponsored by us and you will receive a Sponsor ID / IDiv.

Period of Stay

You can stay in Indonesia for a maximum of 60 days each time, calculated from the date of arrival. You can extend this stay permit multiple times, up to a maximum of 180 days per visit. Stay permit extensions can be processed online by your sponsor through their registered account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id.

  • Bank statement (last 3 months, min USD $2,000 or equivalent) in your name or guarantor's name
  • Recent color photograph (within the last year)
  • Proof of Film Production (Contract, any Permit or Legal Document)
  • Detailed curriculum vitae (CV)
  • Travel itinerary
  • E-visa account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id (sponsor)

Your sponsor must have an account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id before applying. All documents must be uploaded in electronic format.

Specific Requirements

A permit letter from the relevant government agency regarding the use of a location for filming/shooting or film production activities in Indonesia.

Other Provisions

Stateless foreigners and foreigners holding travel documents other than a national passport must attach a Re-Entry Permit to the country where the visa is applied from, along with a return/onward ticket. The visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance; if unused after that period, a new visa must be applied for. Please note that the visa validity period differs from the length of stay, so check your visa for the length of stay. Foreigners holding a stay permit from a D14 Visa are not permitted to sell goods or services, or to receive compensation, wages, or the like for their work/business from individuals or corporations in Indonesia.
