What is C2 Business Visa?
This is a Single Entry Visitor Visa for business purposes. It grants an initial stay of 60 days and is suitable for business people who need to attend meetings, inspect facilities, or negotiate deals in Indonesia. It is NOT a working visa and does not permit employment.
What You Can Do
Attend business meetings and conferences. Negotiate and sign contracts. Purchase goods. Inspect factories and production sites. Participate in exhibitions. You can perform unpaid work related to the business visit, but cannot be employed by an Indonesian entity.
Sponsor Requirements
Guarantor Required - You typically need an Indonesian company to act as your sponsor/guarantor. They must draft an invitation letter and sponsorship letter for your application.
Period of Stay
Initial stay of 60 days. Can be extended 2 times, for 60 days each time, for a maximum stay of 180 days. Extensions are processed at the local Immigration Office.

Submission Requirements
- Passport valid for at least 6 months
- Sponsorship letter from Indonesian company
- Invitation letter from Indonesian company
- Copy of company's business license (NIB/SIUP)
- Applicant's bank statement (min. USD $2,000)
- Return ticket
The sponsor company must be registered in the Immigration system.
Business vs. Work Visa
It is crucial to distinguish between C2 (Business Visitor) and a Work Visa (KITAS E23/etc). C2 allows usually short-term, non-income generating business activities. If you will be working hands-on or receiving a salary in Indonesia, you need a Work KITAS.
Other Provisions
Strictly prohibits employment relations with Indonesian companies. Violation of visa terms can lead to deportation and blacklisting.
Processing Time & Procedure
5-7 working days. The sponsor submits the application online. Once approved, the E-Visa is sent via email.
