New Bali Immigration Rules for Overstay
Updated immigration rules in Bali increase fines for visa overstays to IDR 1,000,000 per day, with potential deportation for overstays exceeding 60 days. Travelers are advised to apply for visa extensions timely.

The Indonesian government has announced updated regulations regarding immigration overstay in Bali, aimed at enforcing stricter penalties. The new rules state that the fine for overstaying a visa is set at IDR 1,000,000 per day, following the guidelines outlined in the Immigration Law No. 6 of 2011. Additionally, travelers who overstay their visa for more than 60 days may face deportation and be blacklisted from re-entering Indonesia. It is essential for visa holders to apply for an extension 7-14 days before their current visa expires to avoid these penalties. Indonesian Visas is available to assist with the visa extension process at immigration offices in Bali, ensuring travelers are compliant with the new regulations.
