What is E31J Child Joining Sibling (ITAS/ITAP Holder) KITAS?
The E31J allows a child to reside in Indonesia with a sibling who holds a valid ITAS/ITAP, for an initial period selected at application, sponsored by that sibling.
Allowed Activities
Holders may reside, pursue education, engage in tourism, and visit friends or family in Indonesia. The re-entry permit allows multiple entries and exits during its validity.
Sponsor Requirements
All Visas except B1 Visa or VOA are recommended to use Sponsorship as your guarantor in Indonesia. You are free to choose whether to use a guarantor or not. By checking the Sponsor option in your order, you will be legally sponsored by us and you will receive a Sponsor ID / IDiv.
Period of Stay
The applicant selects an initial stay duration of either one (1) or two (2) years, counted from the date of arrival in Indonesia. The permit can be extended online via evisa.imigrasi.go.id and may later be converted into another category of stay permit in line with applicable regulations.

Specific Requirements
A guarantee letter from the sponsor or a sibling commitment statement; the sponsoring sibling's birth certificate, translated into Indonesian by a certified/sworn translator unless originally in English; and the sponsoring sibling's valid limited or permanent stay visa.
Other Provisions
The visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance; visa validity differs from the authorized length of stay. Holders may not exceed the granted stay period, work without authorization, or sell goods or services unless job-related.

Processing takes five working days after payment is completed. The procedure includes verification of the submitted requirements, verification of the fee payment, creation/verification of the applicant's profile, approval by the immigration authority, and issuance of the visa.
