What is E31C Child of Indonesian Citizen KITAS?
The E31C is a family reunification visa issued to a child of a legal WNA-WNI marriage. It permits the child to enter and reside in Indonesia with their Indonesian parent for an initial period selected at application.
Allowed Activities
Holders may reside in Indonesia and pursue education, provided any education is reported to the immigration authority. General tourism and visits to friends or family are also permitted while the permit's re-entry clearance remains valid.
Sponsor Requirements

Period of Stay

- Valid passport with a minimum of 6 months remaining validity
- Bank statement for the last 3 months showing a minimum balance of USD $2,000 or equivalent

Birth and marriage documentation must meet the requirements described under Specific Requirements; documents not in Indonesian or English must be translated by a certified/sworn translator.
Specific Requirements
Birth certificate issued by the competent ministry/agency, evidencing the parents' marriage: legalized marriage certificate with certified Indonesian translation (or Indonesian-issued marriage certificate/marriage book), and the Indonesian parent's Family Card (Kartu Keluarga).
Other Provisions
The visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance; unused visas require a new application. Visa validity is separate from the length of stay authorized. Holders may not remain in Indonesia beyond the granted period of stay, and employment or the sale of goods/services is prohibited unless required for authorized work.

Processing takes five working days after payment is completed. The procedure includes verification of the submitted requirements, verification of the fee payment, creation/verification of the applicant's profile, approval by the immigration authority, and issuance of the visa.
