Other Provisions

Foreign nationals without citizenship, or holding a travel document other than a national passport (such as an emergency passport, titre du voyage, certificate of identity, or laissez passer), must attach a Re-Entry Permit for the country where the visa was applied for, along with a return or onward ticket. The visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance; if unused within that period, a new visa must be obtained. Please note that the visa validity period differs from the length of the stay permit - please check your visa for information on the length of stay. Foreign nationals holding a stay permit under the C5 Visa are prohibited from selling goods or services, or receiving payment, wages, or similar compensation for work or business activities from any individual or corporation in Indonesia.

Processing Time & Procedure

Visa applications can be submitted either through an Indonesian Representative Office abroad or through the Directorate General of Immigration. Both routes go through the following stages: completeness check of requirements; verification of document data; verification of immigration fee payment; profile creation and verification; approval; and visa personalization, printing, and issuance. Standard processing time is five working days after the visa payment is received.
