C13 Crew Visa
With a C13 visa, you can join a means of transport located or stationed in Indonesia (join vessel). Under this visa, you are also permitted to visit tourist spots and meet friends and family.
Visa Classification
The C13 Visa is a visitor visa for single entry to Indonesia with a first stay permit of up to 60 days, starting from the arrival date. This stay permit is extendable and eligible for conversion into a temporary stay permit with the same sponsor.
Stay Duration & Extensions
You can stay in Indonesia for up to 60 days, starting from the arrival date.
You can extend this stay permit several times up to 180 days.
Note: Your sponsor can extend your stay permit online through the sponsor registered account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id
Guarantor & Sponsorship Requirements
You need a sponsor to apply for this visa. The guarantor must have a registered account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id before applying for a visa on behalf of the foreigner.
After setting up the account, the sponsor can submit the C13 visa application by uploading the required electronic files.

Foreigners holding a stay permit from a C13 visa are not allowed to sell goods or services or receive salary, wages, or compensation for their work or business from individuals or corporations in Indonesia.

Sponsors must prepare the following digital uploads
Sponsor Letters
An application letter and a sponsor statement letter from the guaranteeing company or authority.
Travel Document
A passport valid for at least 6 months before expiry. For emergency, temporary, or non-national passports, it must be valid for at least 12 months.
Proof of Living Expenses
A bank statement for the last 3 months in the name of the foreigner or sponsor, showing at least USD 2000 or equivalent.
Recent Photograph
A recent color photograph of the applicant taken within the last 12 months.
Specific Requirement
A letter of information or statement from a government agency or company explicitly stating that the person concerned will join the means of transport in Indonesia.
Other Provisions & Regulations
Visa Validity Period
The visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. If it is not used to enter Indonesia after that period, the foreigner must apply for a new visa. The visa validity period differs from the length of stay.
Emergency & Non-National Passports
Foreigners without citizenship or holding travel documents like temporary passports, emergency passports, titre du voyage, laissez passer, or equivalent must attach a Re-Entry Permit to the country of origin and a return or onward ticket (except vessel crew).
